CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Monthly Maintenance
Baf昀氀e and CleanFlow Flue Cage Maintenance:
• Check the lower baf昀氀e and CleanFlow Flue Cage for soot and ash buildup, particularly after extended
periods of disuse, such as during the summer.
To remove the lower baf昀氀e:
1. Lift the front edge of the baf昀氀e brick upwards.
2. Take out the supporting pins from the side bricks.
3. Slide the baf昀氀e toward you to remove it.
• Clean the CleanFlow Flue Cage to ensure the 昀氀ue way entrance is free from soot and ash buildup
brush or vacuum the holes when the stove is cold. If necessary, remove the 昀氀ue cage by unscrewing
its fasteners for thorough cleaning.
• While the vermiculite baf昀氀e is durable, it may require replacement depending on usage and fuel type
Air Supply Vent Inspection:
• Inspect and clean any air supply ventilators or air kits.
Remove debris, cobwebs, or blockages to maintain
proper air昀氀ow for ef昀椀cient operation.
