CO ALARM WARNINGS
CO Alarm Warning
Your installer should have 昀椀tted a CO alarm in the same room as the appliance. If the alarm sounds
unexpectedly:
1. Open doors and windows to ventilate the room and leave the premises.
2. Let the 昀椀re go out.
3. Do not attempt to relight the stove until the cause of the alarm has been identi昀椀ed and recti昀椀ed. Seek
expert advice if required.
Extractor Fan Warning

Do not install an extractor fan in the same room as this appliance. Extractor fans can create negative
pressure, leading to dangerous fume emissions into the room.

Doors Closed: This appliance is not designed for open operation and should not be used with the
doors open.
Proper Use: Burn only recommended fuels (wood and smokeless fuels) to achieve high ef昀椀ciency and
clean burning.
Ventilation: Ensure adequate air supply for combustion and ventilation. Do not block any ventilators,
and keep all primary, secondary, and tertiary air inlets clear of obstruction.
Hot Appliance: This appliance becomes very hot during operation. Use the provided leather gloves to
operate the controls safely. Exercise caution to avoid burns. The appliance may remain hot even after
the 昀椀re has gone out. Exercise caution when handling or approaching the stove, as surfaces can retain
heat for an extended period. Always allow suf昀椀cient time for the appliance to cool before performing
any maintenance or cleaning. Use heat-resistant gloves or tools as necessary to avoid burns.
Aerosols: Do not use aerosol sprays near the stove when it is alight.
Warning: Paint Curing During First Burns
During the 昀椀rst few uses, the stove’s high-temperature paint will cure, releasing visible smoke and an
odour. This is normal but requires proper ventilation. Open windows and doors to ensure adequate
air昀氀ow. The curing process can displace oxygen, so for the safety of children, the elderly, and individuals
with respiratory conditions, they should vacate the area during this phase. Once cured, the stove will no
longer emit smoke or odour. Failure to ventilate properly may cause discomfort.
Unauthorised Modi昀椀cations
Any unauthorised modi昀椀cations to this appliance are strictly prohibited. Altering the design,
components, or functionality can compromise the appliance's safety, ef昀椀ciency, and compliance with
regulations. Such modi昀椀cations may result in serious safety risks, void the warranty, and could lead to
malfunction or damage to the appliance.
