DRAUGHT TESTING
Location for Draught Testing

To check the draught, there is a testing location on the top of the stove. Simply lift the stove lid up
to expose a bolt. This bolt can be removed to perform the draught test using a Flue draught gauge
or similar instrument.
By removing the bolt, you can access a suitable point to measure the chimney's draught and ensure it
meets the minimum 12 to 25 Pa requirement
The 昀氀ue draught should be checked under a pre-heated 昀氀ue . This will give a realistic measurement
of the draught when the stove is operating at its peak.
Important - Using twin-wall insulated stainless steel 昀氀ue or 5-inch to 6-inch Single-Wall stove pipe
Adaptor
If connecting twin-wall insulated stainless steel 昀氀ue or If connecting 5-inch to 6-inch rigid 昀氀ue pipe
adaptor directly top of the stove, it may prevent the lid from being moved to access the standard draught
testing point. In such cases, a new 昀氀ue draught test point must be installed in the 昀氀ue pipe to allow for
accurate 昀氀ue draught testing.
