Additional Considerations for Both Installation Types
If the appliance is installed at 昀氀oor or hearth level without the use of a tall stand, it is important to
consider the potential impact of heat radiated from the stove window on 昀氀oor coverings. In such cases,
昀氀oor coverings up to 500mm in front of the stove can be affected by the heat. To ensure safety and
durability, these materials must be resistant to temperatures of at least 114°C. Alternatively, you can
address this by providing extended hearth material or raising the appliance above 昀氀oor level using a tall
stand. Please note these results are based on testing EN 16510. conducted with the air control in the
maximum opening position in ignition mode, this would not be the normal operation of the appliance.
Load-Bearing Capacity:
Ensure the 昀氀oor can support the weight of the stove and hearth. If the existing 昀氀oor does not meet this
requirement, install a load-distributing plate.
Stove Levelling Pads:
The Hamer stove is equipped with large levelling pads on its feet. These pads serve two key purposes:
1. Stabilisation on Smooth Surfaces:
The levelling pads help prevent the stove from sliding on honed or smooth surfaces, providing added
stability once the stove is positioned in its 昀椀nal location.
2. Levelling Adjustment:
The pads allow for minor levelling adjustments, ensuring the stove sits securely and evenly on various
hearth types.
