VENTILATION
Fixed Ducted Air Supply
A 昀椀xed ducted air supply can be used as an alternative to other ventilation methods, providing
combustion air directly to the stove.
Ducting Requirements:

The duct must have a minimum diameter of 100mm and be made from non-combustible material.
The duct should be no longer than 5.5 meters and must not exceed 昀椀ve 90° bends and two 45°
elbows.
Where the duct passes through an external wall, it must be sleeved to ensure safety and maintain the
wall's structural integrity.
The air inlet must remain permanently open and free from obstructions that could reduce air昀氀ow.
Inlet Placement and Protection:

The air inlet must be equipped with a grill to prevent vermin and other small animals from entering.
The inlet must be positioned to avoid blockages from leaves, debris, or other potential obstructions.
It must also be installed to prevent rainwater or 昀氀oodwater from entering the duct.
